Probate and Trust Administration

Probate

Probate is a formal legal process during which the court appoints someone to administer the estate. Not all estates go through probate, regardless of whether a will exists. We represent people who are formally named as Personal Representative of an estate. We also represent loved ones who need to probate an estate when there is no will or a will cannot be found.

Probate Alternatives

Sometimes probate is not required. In your initial discussion, we will review the specific facts of your case to determine whether a probate alternative best suits your needs.

Trust Administration

We represent individuals named as trustees in living and testamentary trusts. We advise our clients on how to best comply with the terms of the trust as well as how to fulfill their duties to the trust beneficiaries.
